Navajo Horsehair Pottery The horsehair pottery is a more recent art that is created by many potters of the Navajo Nation. This unique and beautiful ceramic pottery is hand decorated and carved by the artist. Mane and tail hairs from horses are thrown into the kiln as the pot is fired. The pottery is then removed and polished.
Each beautiful piece is truly unique and signed by the artist. When ordering your pottery, you will receive a piece that is the same shape and size, but the designs will be unique.
